Foradian is Five!
Posted by Foradian — Apr 1, 2014
Foradian is five today and we are very pleased to say that it has been a very rewarding and amazing journey.
Foradian, the brain child of a group of friends started in Kasargod, a small town about 375 kilometers west of Bangalore, right on the border of Karnataka and Kerala. The founders are childhood friends who studied in same town, they went on to graduate with engineering degrees and MBAs from different colleges with a unifying idea of doing something from the home ground. Like for every new venture Foradian had its fair share of struggle. Hiring was tough and so was getting into the education sector.
Foradian started the development of custom student information system to a school. Initially named as “Foredu” and later rebranded as “Fedena”. Fedena was successfully installed in a school in Kasargod in August, 2009. And soon our small-town venture grew its user base to 20 million students and teachers worldwide. Fedena is today present in all the inhabited continents of the world. Awarded with the prestigious NASSCOM Emerge 10 award for innovation in product and business model, Foradian has kept its vision and mission of excellence in education technologies alive.
On this day Foradian extends a big thank to our clients, partners, supporters, team members and all those who have been associated with us for helping us make it big. Here’s to five wonderful years and many more to come. Cheers!
